It’s not that Shane is wrong, he’s just unstable and doesn’t have leadership qualities. Shane is an enforcer, he doesn’t possess the little nuances it takes to put the group at ease and keep things harmonious. He’s the Terrell Owens of the zombie apocalypse… everything sounds good on paper, but he’s a divisive force that ends up being more trouble than he’s worth.
